Clark Herring
Independent Agent
Clark Herring is an Independent Agent with Imperity Insurance & Benefits Consulting focused on helping individuals navigate the complex and often overwhelming world of insurance.

He believes the most meaningful work comes from building trust, forming genuine relationships, and meeting people where they are with empathy and understanding.

Though new to the insurance industry, Clark brings a deep passion for making a real difference in people’s lives—offering impactful, long-lasting solutions that provide security and peace of mind. With a background in community outreach and creative media, Clark has led teams in grassroots fundraising and served as a studio technician and Programming Director at a TV station. These roles honed his ability to connect, communicate, and collaborate—skills he brings into every client interaction.

An entrepreneur at heart, Clark launched his own creative business, Odd Fish Media, where he worked as a photographer, sound designer, and producer. He now brings that same creative energy and drive to his work in insurance—motivated by the opportunity to grow, serve others, and create a career with purpose.

Clark holds a BA in Communications with a focus in Film, Television, and Media Production, and is licensed in New York for Life, Health & Accident Insurance. Bilingual in English and conversational Spanish, he works to ensure that a broader range of clients feel informed, empowered, and supported.

Outside of work, Clark is an actor and musician, performing improv at The People's Improv Theater and playing bass in a funk band. He’s a lover of science podcasts, nature walks through Prospect Park, cooking experiments in his kitchen, and the occasional Tai Chi session. He’s also a dedicated community member, having volunteered with environmental and health-focused organizations, and hopes to continue that work alongside his career.

Clark’s warm, approachable personality, paired with his commitment to doing good for others, makes him someone clients can trust not only as an advisor—but as someone you’d want to invite to your next BBQ.
