Joe is a Founding Partner and COO of Imperity and its insurance agency, Imperity Insurance & Benefits Consulting (IBC), where he channels his entrepreneurial spirit and engineering expertise to drive operational excellence and empower others to shape their futures.

 

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, Joe learned the importance of details, hard work, and an independent mindset from his parents, who thrived as business owners and educators. Inspired by their example, he launched his first business—a tech consultancy—at just 16, leveraging his problem-solving skills to serve local businesses and families.

 

After earning a degree at Hofstra University and obtaining industry certifications, Joe transitioned from technology to financial services, where he saw an opportunity to apply his process-driven approach to help clients achieve financial independence. Over nearly two decades, including leadership roles at a Fortune 500 firm, Joe has guided hundreds of clients and advisors, combining innovation and strategy to address their unique needs.

 

At Imperity, Joe’s mission is to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, helping clients and colleagues take control of their futures. Outside of work, Joe is an avid boater, diver, skier, and hockey player. A resident of Long Beach, NY, he enjoys life by the water with his wife, Stephany, a psychologist, and their spirited son, Jake, whose sharp negotiation skills keep the family on their toes.
